How can I get local channels from my Satellite dish using an antennae?

I do not get all my local channels through my Direct TV box. I want to run it through my receiver so I can use my DVR for these channels. I have seen it done with dish network, but i do not know if it is possible with Direct Tv.

  1. TV guy Says:

You need to check if your set-top box has a Digital (ATSC) Tuner. Then you simply connect your antenna and you are all set. This is how it is done with Dish.
